Currently reporting to the Chief Counsel, UCSF Health, the Principal Health Operations Counsel provides legal support to UCSF Health's compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, clinical affairs, clinical operations, and finance teams on complex and high impact healthcare regulatory analysis. Work may include advising and counseling on health care regulatory and policy issues including health care reimbursement, federal health care program (Medicare, Medi-Cal) enrollment, hospital licensing and accreditation, federally qualified health centers, clinical laboratories, pharmacies, controlled substances, graduate medical education, and more.
