DescriptionThe San Diego State Department of Management maintains an open 'pool' of applications for temporary faculty positions and reviews this pool on an as-needed basis to identify qualified applicants for available instructional work.
We welcome applications from prospective temporary faculty with expertise or experience in the following areas: organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, human resource management, strategic management, international business, ethics and corporate governance.
Temporary appointments may be either full or part-time.
CriteriaCandidates with a Ph.D. degree in Management or closely related areas are preferred, but exceptional candidates with an MBA or MS in a closely related field will also be considered. Candidates should have demonstrated evidence of good communication skills and a passion for teaching undergraduate students.
Hiring preferences will be given to those holding a doctorate, certifications, teaching experience and/or significant subject matter experience typically obtained through practical managerial experience or publications pertinent to the applicable teaching area. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience, according to university policy.
