The Assistant Director of Alumni Career Services provides advising and counseling related to career exploration, job-related skill development, experiential learning, graduate school, re-careering, and employment for University of Georgia alumni. The position also manages alumni Handshake accounts, an alumni newsletter, career-related webinars and workshops, and events that connect employers to alumni. This position serves on Career Development committees and supervises one or more graduate assistant positions.

Proven ability to work effectively with students & alumni, especially students & alumni with various professional and academic experience, as well as with faculty, staff, and employers.
Knowledgeable of career needs, skills, and trends related to alumni, general career development, and job market trends.
Strong verbal and written communications skills; excellent presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects; strong planning and organizational skills.
Demonstrated program development and events coordination experience.
Proficient computer skills, especially web-based technology.
