Position Summary
Olin Business School, a premier educator of business professionals worldwide, seeks an entrepreneurial leader for the career-defining role of Senior Associate Dean and Knight Distinguished Director of Executive Education. Reporting to the Dean of Olin Business School and serving as a member of the senior leadership team, the Senior Associate Dean will lead the transformation of the executive education function to grow enrollment and revenue in the St. Louis region, Washington D.C., and beyond. Olin is poised to innovate and diversify its portfolio of non-degree offerings and expand the executive education team to meet the needs of corporate, government, and nonprofit clients.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develops and executes a strategic plan for executive education aligned with the institution's mission and goals of growth and input.
Identifies emerging trends and opportunities in executive education to keep the portfolio of non-degree offerings innovative and competitive.
Program Development and Management
Oversees the design, development, and management of a portfolio of high-quality non-degree executive education programs, including open-enrollment, custom, and online offerings.
Ensures the portfolio meets the needs of executives and organizations, providing measurable ROI.
Collaborates with faculty and subject matter experts to create relevant and impactful content.
Business Development and Stakeholder Engagement
Builds and maintains relationships with corporate clients, alumni, and industry partners to drive program growth and revenue.
Develops marketing and sales strategies to attract participants and organizations.
Identifies and pursues new business opportunities and partnerships.
Acts as the primary liaison between the executive education department and internal/external stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the executive education department, including budget management, resource allocation, staff supervision, and development.
Implements processes for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
Ensures the highest standards of program delivery and participant experience.
Financial Management
Develops and manages the executive education budget, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
Monitors program financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
Prepares financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
