WCC is hiring an Advancement Coordinator to support the daily operations of our thriving advancement office!
The Advancement Coordinator will coordinate the WCC Foundation activities and processes. This position will work with highly-sensitive information and will engage with a range of internal and external individuals and groups, so a high level of discretion, tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment are required.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Support the CPO and Director of Advancement in day-to-day fundraising and operations initiatives.
Oversee the development and execution of faculty and staff donor appreciation events.
Drive and design campus educational events to support fundraising and community connectivity.
Coordinate scholarship activities and stewardship.
Manage and maintain Foundation records for scholarship applicants.
Responsible for the coordination and distribution of student acknowledgment letters process, including requesting, matching with appropriate donors, organizing, and distributing to donors along with written letter from Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Resolve student concerns directly or through referral to the Director.
Assist with WCC Foundation activities and events as directed.
Process weekly WCC Foundation donation processing and deposits.
Assist CPO with board management as needed.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
This position is identified as Work from Home eligible one(1) day per week ( Monday or Friday), based on determination that essential duties can 1) be performed outside of the worksite, 2) be performed without access to equipment, material, and files located on campus, 3) be performed without face to face contact with supervisor, students or staff, and 4) be performed remotely with an overall neutral effect on students, co-workers, and the organization as a whole.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Experience working in a non-profit/fundraising office environment, including in a Higher Education or Health Care advancement office, is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills to deal prudently with a variety of College and community constituents.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, letter composition and editing.
Exceptional customer service skills and confident communicator
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a collaborative environment.
Ability to identify/anticipate needs and proactively provide support.
