The Records and Information Management Director ensures UCSF's compliance with governmental requirements under the domain of the California Public Records Act (CPRA), California Information Practice Act (IPA), California Labor Code, the Federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and the various State, Federal, and local statutes involving subpoenas. The Director oversees the team that manages day to day operations of the Campus records management program including the collection, redaction, and timely production of campus records and digital information in response to requests made pursuant to the Acts and Statutes named above, ensuring that the campus response conforms with state and federal laws, regulations, and university policy, serving as central subject matter expert.
