Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has been exclusively retained by Northrop Grumman Corporation (“Northrop” or the “Company”) to conduct a search for a Corporate Counsel – Intellectual Property to be located in its Falls Church, VA office. Northrop Grumman is an equal opportunity employer.

Northrop Grumman is looking for an experienced lawyer to join its team as Corporate Counsel – Intellectual Property.

Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel handling a variety of complex patent issues. The successful candidate will have expertise in managing the patent life cycle from disclosure through enforcement and monetization, as well as experience in strategic planning and execution of patent protection strategies. Candidates with knowledge of a variety of IP-related tools and experience in leading patent operations are preferred.

Location: Falls Church, VA. 3-4 days/week in office required.

Relocation: Local candidates preferred. Relocation assistance will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
