POSITION SUMMARY The General Counsel (GC) serves as the principal legal officer for Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation (Ailey) and provides legal advice and counsel to the Executive Director, the Senior Leadership Team, the Board of Trustees, and other members of the Ailey community on a broad and diverse range of legal matters, while maintaining knowledge of the organization’s operations and legal matters. The GC supports the work of the multi-faceted, diversified, and complex legal affairs of Ailey and is a member of the senior leadership team.
