Job Summary: The Incident Response Analyst position has primary responsibility for conducting investigations and incident response activity for information security incidents perpetuated by or against UW-Madison students, faculty, and staff. This position also provides digital evidence handling and forensic analysis assistance for misconduct (both student and research) investigations, human resource investigations, and legal requests such as subpoenas. The Incident Response Analyst is responsible for assisting with the work of the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), including performing regular operational tasks, providing advanced analysis, and training CSOC analysts on analysis and investigation techniques.This position
