Manage all corporate development for the Society including government grants and private foundations. Knowledge of all government, state and industry regulations including a thorough understanding of ACCME standards, AdvaMed Code, PhRMA code and the Office of Inspector General (OIG) guidelines. Organize all in-kind equipment donated to the Institute for Training and Technology and educational courses. Oversee corporate rentals of the ASGE Institute for Training and Technology. Responsible for industry training program.

Analyze corporate giving trends and execute strategic business plans for continued growth.
Responsible for relationship-building, customer service, and maximum return on investment with corporate, government grants.
Represent the Society in prospecting corporate and government grants presenting proposals, negotiating business agreements, and signing and managing contracts.
Develop and monitor department budgets to meet strategic goals, projecting revenue growth and expense in close relationship with the leadership team.
Consult with the education department regarding in-kind and capital equipment requests for the educational courses and bioskills lab respectfully.
Responsible for managing all rentals of the Institute for Training and Technology facility.
Responsible industry training: coordinating, implementing and securing companies for the ASGE Recognized Industry Associate Program (ARIA).
Oversee the management and solicitation of exhibit and marketing opportunities.
Motivate, supervise and evaluate department staff, fostering a spirit of team-building, creativity, flexibility, efficiency and quality.
The incumbent will serve as a member of the ASGE Leadership Team; performs other duties as assigned; and maintains knowledge of external environment related to GI endoscopy and health care.
Staff liaison with various committees/ASGE affiliates, including the Research Committee and the Association for Bariatric Endoscopy (ABE).
Education/Experience/Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum of 10 years' experience in non-profit development functions, or comparable business experience, including five years of strategic solicitation and management responsibility. Knowledge of nonprofit and charitable organizations. Oral and written communication skills with expertise in writing and presenting proposals and negotiating agreements. Knowledge of industry training. Knowledge of evolving corporate giving ethics and guidelines.
