Overview: The VP-AGC will provide legal and transactional support for all aspects of the Company’s operations, with a particular focus on corporate law (including securities and corporate governance), Board and SEC matters, contracts and managing the company’s contracting function (including managing a team of four), compliance (including risk assessments, corporate policies, and trainings), legal operations, as well as be able to develop skills in and own a wide variety of matters as legal needs arise. The VP, Associate General Counsel – Corporate and Securities (VP-AGC) will play an integral role as a key member of ImmunityBio’s legal team, and will report directly to the General Counsel.
Company: ImmunityBio, Inc. is a publicly traded, late clinical-stage biotechnology company developing cell and immunotherapy products that are designed to help strengthen each patient’s natural immune system, potentially enabling it to outsmart the disease and eliminate cancerous or infected cells. The Company’s first BLA has been accepted for review by the FDA with a PDUFA target action date of May 23, 2023.
Compensation: Competitive package commensurate with experience, includes base and bonus.
Location: San Diego, Newport Beach or Los Angeles (hybrid-working arrangement, but not fully remote).
Relocation: Local candidates preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of relevant legal experience with securities law, corporate governance, and risk management. Prior experience working within the life sciences industry, with in-house experience preferred.
