Overview: The Corporate Counsel is responsible for providing legal advice and counsel in the areas of contracts, franchising, supply chain, marketing, and restaurant development. This position will also handle liquor and business licensing matter. The Corporate Counsel will draft and negotiate agreements on behalf of HMSHost. Experience: The successful candidate will have 4+ years of relevant legal experience at a top law firm or a corporate legal department, with experience drafting commercial contracts or general corporate transactional agreements. Franchising and licensing experience in the restaurant, brand, or retail industry is preferred.
Bar: Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. Jurisdiction, and eligible to render legal advice in Maryland as in-house counsel.
Location: Bethesda, MD. This is an in-office role.
