Temporary Faculty Position in Management Management

Description The San Diego State Department of Management maintains an open 'pool' of applications for temporary faculty positions and reviews this pool on an as-needed basis to identify qualified applicants for available instructional work.
We welcome applications from prospective temporary faculty with expertise or experience in the following areas: organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, human resource management, strategic management, international business, ethics and corporate governance.
Temporary appointments may be either full or part-time.
Criteria
Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Management or closely related areas are preferred, but exceptional candidates with an MBA or MS in a closely related field will also be considered. Candidates should have demonstrated evidence of good communication skills and a passion for teaching undergraduate students.
Hiring preferences will be given to those holding a doctorate, certifications, teaching experience and/or significant subject matter experience typically obtained through practical managerial experience or publications pertinent to the applicable teaching area. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience, according to university policy.

The salary schedule information for the Lecturer - 12 month Classification is available based on the following ranges:
