THE OPPORTUNITY:
As the Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator you will manage the recruiting process for non-partner attorneys in their assigned office(s). Reporting to the Regional Senior Legal Recruiting Manager you will work closely with hiring partners, and be responsible for implementing attorney search strategies to identify high quality candidates, in alignment with the Firm’s core values of diversity, collaboration, and innovation.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
On any given day you will work with the legal recruiting team and partners across the firm supporting the attorney recruiting efforts for the offices you support. You will:
- Coordinate full life-cycle recruitment of non-partner lateral attorneys.
- Coordinate Summer Fellowship Program for Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte and Washington, DC.
- Publicize job openings to reach a broad and diverse applicant pool.
- Track and review applications in a timely manner, and identify qualified candidates for interview.
- Schedule interviews with candidates, gather interview feedback, and prepare summary of interview evaluations.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by welcoming candidates, overseeing interviews, and providing prompt feedback to candidates and search firms.
- Maintain an updated recruiting database and prepare regular reports on the status of open requisitions and pending candidates.
- Communicate with recruiting agencies and applicants regarding inquiries, offers, and application status.
- Establish and maintain relationships with legal search firms, ensure that contingency fee agreements are in place and current, and process placement fee invoices in a timely manner.
- Participate in local office meetings and collaborate with local office administration on recruiting efforts.
- Assist the Legal Recruiting team with other projects or tasks assigned from time to time.
YOU HAVE:
- At least five years of Legal Recruiting experience.
- Initiative, team orientation, commitment to diversity and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills are required.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem solving skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple and shifting priorities.
- Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs is required.
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Knowledge of Workday and viRecruit a plus.
- Knowledge of attorney recruiting procedures and a minimum of two years’ law firm or other professional recruiting experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
