About the Division:
The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIE) comprises faculty with expertise in diverse topics, including corporate and business strategy, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, sustainability, organizational
paradoxes, and social networks. We are dedicated to providing students with an excellent education, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a dynamic and competitive global business environment. We deliver strategic management, business sustainability and entrepreneurship courses in undergraduate and graduate programs, enriching students’ global business perspectives, and support entrepreneurship initiatives and education at NBS and the University.
The multi-disciplinary perspectives of our faculty have led to publications in premier journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. We look for a candidate with a strong track record of high-quality research and at least three years of teaching at the MBA/EMBA level. There is no preference for a specific subject area, but the candidate must have a well-recognized area of expertise with sufficient visibility and impact in the global academic community. It would be helpful, but not required, to have international exposure and industry experience. Appointment with tenure requires a formal review, and the starting date is negotiable but preferably at the beginning of the 2023 academic year.
NBS offers an internationally-competitive salary commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, an annual performance bonus, and subsidies for housing and children’s education.
