Position Overview: PetSmart seeks a strategic and proactive data privacy and data protection specialist to join its legal team. This position will partner closely with the CISO, Marketing and IT teams to ensure that business initiatives comply with laws and consumer expectations. It is looking for a candidate with stellar judgment who can provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal business teams to achieve commercial goals in a fast-paced environment.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of related and relevant experience, preferably with larger, consumer-facing clients. In-house legal experience is a plus. CIPP is a plus.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Location: Phoenix, AZ or remote.
