With minimal direction, sell VSP's products and services to key account buying entities. Exercise a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products and marketing techniques to achieve market share growth objectives and operational goals.
Develop and implement Key Account Sales Program to maximize growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Develop and implement annual sales plans and forecast future sales performance for Key Accounts
Responsible for the creation of annual objectives and budgets and the measurement of sales against established plan goals
Identify internal and external process improvement for Key Accounts including improvements in the ordering and return process, customer service assistance, distribution, and board selection; make recommendations to executive management
Provide direction to Board Management/Consignment, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Distribution Center
Work with Sales Force to develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities; Develop and implement training as needed
Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with Key Accounts and identify prospective additions to the group
Establishes and maintains working relationships with key personnel and communicates with internal and external clients and executive management as needed
Manages and leads special projects as assigned
Perform all other duties as assigned
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
Five years plus sales experience, with demonstrated account management, servicing, negotiation, and established customer relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility
In depth knowledge of underwriting, products, services and healthcare industry
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Clean DMV record
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature is adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust etc.
