The RIA Board Specialist Senior operates as the lead point of contact for the Capital Group (CG) Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Advisory Board, comprised of notable selected practitioners in the RIA market, driving meeting topic discussions on pressing themes in the marketplace. In doing so, gains diverse perspectives on the high net worth (HNW) industry to assist internal sales and marketing teams to deliver the greatest value for RIAs. Establishes the long-term vision for the board and its connectivity with the rest of the RIA business and market strategy. Also, manages development, launch and optimization of board-driven community initiatives.
Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
You will Oversee the RIA Advisory board meetings and ensures all board members are fulfilling expectations.
You will serve as the primary liaison and critical connection between the RIA Advisory Board and CG internal sales and marketing teams.
You drive the meeting topic discussion to garner RIA market insights and perspectives to achieve maximum sales and marketing content.
You are accountable for creating the meeting agenda, ensuring meeting conversations address certain target topics, that all goals are accomplished, and that all board members participate and are heard.
You determine the general direction of future marketing campaigns to address key themes from the feedback shared at the board meetings.
You are constantly evaluating the effectiveness of the current board structure, proposing and implementing structural changes to achieve meeting effectiveness - maximizing feedback discussions from the meetings.
You manage the rotation of board members, including identify and vetting potential new members. Also, has the authority to decide who should be included or be removed from board seats.
You develop an inclusive environment that welcomes diversity and encourages collaboration in decision-making.
You actively solicit feedback to continue improving the board member experiences during their tenure. Periodically checks-in with them to boost productivity and bring clarity to individual roles.
You will partner with the CG RIA Sales Director to navigate upcoming conferences and forums.
You are responsible for board member engagement and participation in speaking events on the partnership with CG, developing credibility in the marketplace.
You will ensure that the members of the board are contributing and upholding their responsibilities representing CG.
You will determine the board framework, deciding if it's working or needs to evolve from its current structure.
You will lead the work of marketing team to develop materials and communication for board events.
You will strategically align themes and concepts to determine the direction of current and future marketing initiatives.
You will collaborate with RIA Marketing lead to extract board member perspectives and develop into content for marketing channels.
You will contribute to the development of website articles (RIA Insider), white papers or other marketing materials used by RIA sales teams.
You will be accountable for Event team's execution of logistics surrounding board events - both virtual and in-person.
You will strategize on relationship development opportunities with the board members.
You will manage the relationship with the RIA Advisory board members, ensuring that CG is equally meeting their expectations.
You will proactively initiate projects and communication efforts to support RIA needs and concerns.
