The Vice President, Corporate and Securities will be a senior member of the L Brands Legal Team and will serve as primary advisor to the Chief Legal Officer regarding the Company’s securities, corporate governance/Board and M&A functions. The Vice President, Corporate and Securities will manage outside securities and transactional counsel.

Subsequent to L Brands split into two public companies later this summer, separating Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secret into two public entities, this position will be part of the Bath & Body Works Legal Team.
A competitive compensation package will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate’s level of experience.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of legal experience that preferably includes at least six years of foundational training at an AmLaw 100 firm. Experience in an in-house legal department of a public company in roles of increasing responsibility and visibility within that organization is preferred. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience with '34 Act filings (8-K, 10-K, 10-Q, Section 16 and proxy statements), as well as private placement and registration statements, executive compensation and related equity plan administration matters, corporate governance and related public-company board and committee matters, and complex M&A transactions. The successful candidate must be an approachable business-minded lawyer with demonstrated relationship-building and effective communication skills to successfully work across departments with all levels of the organization and an analytical and detail-oriented mindset that can both issue spot, analyze and present creative solutions, as well as advise of risk.
This position will ideally be located in Columbus, OH where the company is headquartered. (Consideration may be given to candidates who wish to work out of the Company’s office in New York City).
