About the Role
Individual contributor role for full stack JAVA Development as a Software Engineer; Hands on coding role; Designs and develops code for multiple projects/requirements simultaneously. Provides technical support to the co-located teams, design and automation solutions to make the development process better and faster. Takes a lead role in driving the usage of latest technology/Frameworks. Motivates the team to use the tools that improve the quality of the product.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer in Consumer Lending Technology (CLT) LOB Home Lending Servicing you will be responsible for -
Drive the design conversations to arrive at best possible solutions for multiple parallel initiatives Analyze and suggest optimal tool and Framework appropriate for the use case instilling best practices of software development Active participation in scrum team to design/develop product features in collaboration with the US teams Provide Business value through innovation and continuous improvement continuously find opportunities to refactor and reduce technical debt Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills; proven ability to work with end users to understand and transform requirements to solutions Conducts peer code reviews and design reviews Perform Impact Analysis for Functional / Non Functional for release epics Lead and mentor junior technical team members Necessary presentation and documentation for technical artefacts Ensure Release software meets all requirements of Security, Quality, Extensibility, Performance, Reusability
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in IT Should be strong in PCF, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud gateway, Junit\\Test NG and Cucumber, Distributed Logging and Tracing Framework Strong technical expertise in Java/J2EE technologies Hands on experience with Micro Services Architecture Exposure to Splunk dashboards and App dynamics Should have good knowledge on GIT source repository, Gradle build tool Good knowledge in Front end technologies especially Bootstrap, Angular 7\\8, Junit, Mockito In depth technical knowledge in MQ , KAFKA , NoSQL MongoDB Proficiency in using code analysis and debugging tools Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies and systems Should have working knowledge of Agile – Scrum methodology Should have strong communication and presentation skills
Secondary Skills: Experience in banking preferably Mortgage industry Good to have exposure to Microservices Architecture, Spring Cloud gateway, Service Discovery and service mesh Framework, Event Driven Architecture Exposure to Microservices pattern like Strangler pattern, API gateway Pattern, Aggregation pattern, CQRS, Event sourcing, Saga and Circuit breaker patterns
