Market Job Description
Commercial Banking Operations Support Services (CBOSS) is responsible for all of Commercial Banking Operations, including risk management, communications, metrics and business analytics, and business initiatives implementation support. The CBOSS Technical Writing team writes, edits, and manages supported team procedures while ensuring the procedures maintain a consistent format, voice, and level of detail.
Commercial Banking Operations Support Services (CBOSS) has onshore technical writers that create and update procedures and other documentation for all of Commercial Banking Operations, including risk management, communications, metrics and business analytics, and business initiatives implementation support. The CBOSS team is creating a team in Manila, Philippines to handle the publishing function.
The WFIP publishers will work with the onshore technical writers to publish procedures on the Open Text platform. Open Text is a content management application. The WFIP team will receive notification from the onshore technical writers when a document is ready to be published via an internal website used to track document requests.
The publishing request will provide details on the document type, when the task is due, the document itself as well as the details needed to build out the record in Open Text. The WFIP publishers will rely on the technical writing team's publishing standards and the publish request to complete the publishing process. The WFIP publishers will also work closely with the onshore technical writers to obtain further direction or answer any questions they may have.
Market Skills and Certifications
Graduate of BS/BA degree or higher in a communication focused field such as English, communications, or journalism
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of Content Management Systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
At least 1 year relevant experience
Experience researching and preparing written communications
Primary responsibilities would be as follows: Managing basic to moderately complex content in OpenText within established publishing guidelines. Adding revision histories and all cross references in content. Channeling and versioning content. Following the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Secondary responsibilities would be as follows: Quality Assurance Attend team meetings, one on one meetings, training as needed Provide status update on assignments and requests
