Department Overview:
Information Cyber Security (ICS) is part of Wells Fargo's Technology organization. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, ICS protects our infrastructure, company data, and customer assets while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and laws.
About the Role:
The Information Security Associate for Asia Pacific and EGS regions will work closely with the Technology Relationship Manager and aligned International ISLs to ensure that information security risks are identified, discussed, dispositioned, appropriately mitigated or escalated for further review.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for providing information security expertise and proactive risk-based solutions to aligned business and/or applicable teams that report to aligned Information Security Leader (ISL) so that information security risks are addressed in a timely manner.
- Assists with the monitoring, reporting and tracking of IS programs within the business.
- Recommends innovations that anticipate future directions of both the business, Information Technology and Information Security.
- Understand the regional local regulatory requirements and how these regulations impact Information Security risk within the region.
- The candidate will need to coordinate vulnerability assessments and provide oversight in LOBs 3rd party IS assessments for the regions.
Essential Qualifications:- 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Technology 5+ years of Information Security Frameworks and standards (FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience
- Knowledge and understanding of information security risk assessment procedures, risk mitigation or remediation
- Ability to manage large complex cross-matrix organization that includes: multiple business, technology and risk disciplines with direct leadership; the development of the strategy for information security; and implementation of roadmaps for the Enterprise
