Wells Fargo India enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Technology, Operations, Risk, Audit, Process Excellence, Automation and Product, Analytics and Modeling. We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.
Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation /Community Bank Technology within the Enterprise Information Technology business provides strategic technology solutions to the both the PVSI and Community Banking lines of business, including application design, development, and support.
About the Role
This position within Deposits, Debit Cards and Operations Technology area. The team works with other applications across various business lines.
Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Research PI and Settlements inquiries and/or problem tickets, including research and response to questions and inquiries received in the PI and Settlement Production Support mailbox
Updating SharePoint site with status of issues and problem resolutions
Support Project development efforts related to PI and Settlements and other miscellaneous projects assigned to Production Support
Support adhoc tasks like data requests and resolving non-critical production issues.
Batch Optimization and performance tuning
of mainframe application across DODCT platform support teams
Technology oriented B.E/B Tech Degree or equivalent advanced degree.
8 or more years of experience retail banking applications
7+ years of application production support experience, performance engineering, application fine tuning and automation
Understand the various functionalities of the PI and Settlements processing to ascertain the deviation in the current process
8 or more years of experience in programming using COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2, VSAM.
Good working experience on mainframe utilities like sort, REXX, fileaid, endeavor/changeman easytrieve..etc
Good working experience on debugging tools like Xpediter, abend aid..etc
Good experience in leading small to medium project by providing technical leadership.
Analytic and excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and can work independently
Ability to work shifts/nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
