Capital Markets Technology is within the Enterprise Information Technology business and the portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.) and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services).
About The Role
CMT is part of Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) group & delivers Capital Markets technology solutions by following enterprise policies, guidelines and programs. CMT is structured into verticals & horizontal teams to support Capital Markets Technology needs across Wells Fargo. The position is to lead Collateral Management and Regulatory Technology team at Wells Fargo India
Work with US technology managers on projects and be directly responsible for full project life cycle for projects / applications including user interaction, planning, development, testing and L3 support.
Manage and collaborate effectively with all the stakeholders including business teams, technology, QA and support teams.
Understand the enterprise priorities and help the team to align to those priorities.
Work closely with QA and support teams and help in getting those teams collaborate effectively with the business and development teams.
Look for opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of the platform.
Ensure operation hygiene of the team.
Recruit, mentor and develop talent by setting appropriate goals and expectations for the team.
Lead organizational initiatives, foster diversity and inclusion, and champion change within the group. Multi-cultural sensitivity a must.
Primary point person for systems and projects within area of responsibility.
Contribute to continuous improvement ideas and projects.
Bachelor Degree with 12+ years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions, preferably in the investment banking space.
3+ years Capital markets technology experience
5+ years specific functional area experience - Collateral management, Derivatives and Trades stress testing, SR14-1 recovery and resolution planning, Qualified Financial Contracts (QFC).
Strong experience developing applications using Java, Python or Java wit ETL/Angular JS Experience.
Strong SQL development experience and strong knowledge on designing data models and writing stored procedures and indexes.
Strong background in OOPS concepts and design patterns
Good understanding of Object Oriented development
Familiar and direct experience of Agile development and dev ops tools such as Jira, confluence, automated regression testing
Excellent communication (both spoken and written English) and interpersonal skills
Experienced working in both build-the-bank (BTB) and run-the-bank (RTB) projects.
Experienced working in matrix organization.
