The Manager of Network Security team will be responsible to Lead a team of Information Security Engineers who provide engineering for Next Gen Firewalls devices. The team is responsible for ensuring the stability of security products designed for the Network Security platform and helping connect tools and processes; protect information assets through the management, administration and monitoring of Network security devices in support of security-focused initiatives. This position involves day-to-day communications with peer support groups required to maintain the perimeter infrastructure. Provides technical leadership and consultation associated with Network Security products. Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Develops departmental procedures and establishes a consistent support model. Performs resource planning for on site, remote/geographically dispersed team members. Consults with peer managers, customers and staff and is responsible for process and procedure improvements. Mentors staff. Point of escalation for highly complex production problems. Leads projects,] allocates and manages resources. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Addresses technical and business challenges and escalates when appropriate.

Oversee day to day Network Security operations. Oversee a team of 10+ of team members
Strategize and support Network Security roadmap with year on year continuous improvement as value addition.
Contribute/Develop and implement enterprise wide strategic initiatives and best practices of Network Security organization at the enterprise level
Partner with IS and IT to understand business processes and requirements and then provides consulting and solutions design to enable risk mitigation across the Network Security platform
Primary contact for customers and partners in their pursuit to implement the best
possible security solutions
Plan, measure and monitor health of operations with KPIs and KRIs.
Lead initiatives like predictive trend analysis, continuous improvement thru automations and cross trainings.
Partner with senior stakeholders in the business to influence project outcomes
Create and maintain Statement of work and Process Service Description for the function
Responsible for recruitment, performance management and team development.
Accomplish results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job results and coaching

15+ years of information security experience and 6+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Expertise in leading Heterogeneous computing environment that Network Security systems
Expert knowledge on multi-vendor firewall hardware (Cisco /Checkpoint/Palo Alto/WAF- F5 ASM) and how they process connectivity.
Expert at Email Security products.
Expert in Checkpoint & Palo Alto IPS Management System
Expertise in information security industryand regulatory standards, policies, procedures and control systems
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and program management skills. Extremely good in verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making skills.
Effective people management experiencewith managing managers and team members
Industry certification like CISSP/CISM in good standing for over 3 years.
Minimum of the CCNP (Security) / CCSE (R80) /PCNSE / ASM Specialist certification (CCIE or higher is a plus).
Experience in Banking organization
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Managed service delivery certifications like ITIL, Six Sigma will be beneficial
