: Information and Cyber Security (ICS) is part of Wells Fargo's Technology organization. Wells Fargo views ICS as enabling lines of business to mitigate information security risk in accordance with our risk appetite. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, Information & Cyber Security team (ICS) protects our infrastructure, company data, and customer assets while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and laws.
This leadership position will be responsible for Cyber Security Defense and Monitoring (CSD&M) function within ICS.
The ICS CSD&M leader and his/her teams in WFI&P will create and deploy high quality, stable and scalable security solutions that enable the business to deploy secure products and services for our customers. In addition they will manage and allocate appropriate people and resources to ensure production stability, performance and availability goals, and service level agreements are met and align with strategic objectives of Wells Fargo information security program. This role's decision making carries significant value as well as risk to the organization, its businesses and customers.
The ICS CSD&M leader is responsible for ensuring that updates are made to the security posture as cyber security threats change, new security controls for protection are developed and emerging information security solutions become acceptable.
This role will partner with all ICS enterprise CSD&M Leaders and lead relevant enterprise initiatives to help achieve the most out of our global teams through effective utilization of the right talent pools, sustain high levels of quality and productivity, leverage the unique capabilities of each geography that we operate in and foster a high engagement level of teams across geographies.
The technical areas of responsibility of CSD&M function comprises of three major functions (1) Cyber Security Monitoring & Response, (2) Cyber Threat Management and (3) CSD&M Data and Analytics. The CSD&M Leader is expected to oversee, guide and enhance engineering and operations aspects of each of the three functions detailed below that are led by Cyber Security Engineering Managers.
Cyber Security Monitoring & Response function covers services such as Security Operations Center services covering real time monitoring and incidence response, Threat Hunting, Security Forensics, Threat Detection, Data Loss Prevention Engineering and Incident Response.
Cyber Threat Management function covers services like Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Third Party Risk Intelligence, Dynamic Application Security Testing, Cyber Threat Engineering, Cyber Security Innovation, CTM Operations & Strategy
CSD&M Data & Analytics function covers services such as Data & Analytics program engagement & quality, Security Compliance Continuous Monitoring, Data & Analytics Solution Development, Data & Analytics Infrastructure & Services, Data Governance and Controls, Innovation and Delivery engaging Machine Learning solutions for predictive analytics

Proactively engage in building security practices within WF India locations to support the larger information security program and activities.
Provide technical understanding of existing and emerging information security risks.

Establish and manage partnerships and alliances with ICS leadership, industry peers, and government agencies, research communities in order to share intelligence and gain insight and visibility into securing network evolutions.
Interact with confidence with senior business and technology leaders. Positively influence, motivate and direct leaders to achieve and/or exceed business results.
Develop and present regular information security connectivity update briefings to executive management.
Maintain a thorough understanding of cyber security engineering, information security concepts and knowledge of related information security best practices.
Be responsible for the execution and implementation of cyber security products, services and technologies. Proactively manages system capacity and availability as part of normal production and continuous monitoring activities, and ensure proper planning for growth to address present and emerging threats.
Partnership with shared services contacts
Plan, develop and manage a capital, expense and cost center budget while developing standards and processes that can be implemented company-wide to improve reliability and reduce costs.
18+ years' information security technology management and/or related-business line experience that includes 9+ years' management and/or leadership experience.
Should have prior experience in leading teams in large global delivery environment particularly centered around US based banking and financial services organization
Expertise in information security industry and regulatory standards, policies, procedures and control systems specific to Cyber Security domain (in line with the CSD&M functional view given above).
Bachelors or Master's degree in Technology /Engineering
Industry certification like CISSP, CISM, SANS in good standing for over 3 years.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Prior experience in Agile, KANBAN, etc. will be beneficial
Exposure to tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, Splunk, Tableau, etc. will be beneficial
