: This position will work closely with other functions within Enterprise Database Security for requirements gathering and support of the deployment of Guardium with a focus on development of controls and procedures to ensure effective monitoring.
Looking for a highly motivated Information Security Engineering Senior Analyst with experience in auditing and monitoring of database systems with IBM Security Guardium to be part of a virtual team of database security engineers. This role will be responsible for end to end management and support of IBM Security Guardium, which includes policy management, data isolation support, and trusted traffic management, integration of data with Splunk, Data Quality analysis, audit and forensic reporting.
This role will assist with the design, documentation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security solutions related to IBM Security Guardium. Provide security consulting on small projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information security policy, and standards. Provide technical support for security-related issues. Review and correlate security logs. Track and/or remediate vulnerabilities and security issues. Proficient in industry leading security solutions and best practices used to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification/modeling/monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity. Interface with senior technologists and may interface with middle-management.
3-5 years of experience with IBM Security Guardium Administration
2+ year's database auditing and administration experience
2+ years of audit, regulatory compliance or risk management experience
1+ years of scripting experience using Windows PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java or PL-SQL
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with designing and managing Splunk Dashboards, Reports, Lookup Tables and KV Stores
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology or other related discipline.
Market Skills and Certifications
Experience with IBM Security Guardium Vulnerability Assessment and Data Isolation (S-GATE)
Knowledge and understanding of information security risk assessment or audit
Experience with managing one or more distributed database platforms. (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc..)
Experience with integrating IBM Security Guardium with Splunk (SIEM solution)
Experience in writing and executing Splunk SPL
Experience in preparing Test Plan and Test scripts
Experience with interpreting requirements and implementing Use-Cases
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
