About the Role
To support Change - Be an effective marketer for work group projects, programs, or products. Help teams and work groups translate new change goals into practical implementation steps Develop insights to the emerging technology trends in the market and sharing the same within the work group
Provide on-call support during off-hours as needed. - Responsible to provide Production Application support to OPS,PYD,Bill Pay, Direct Pay and Billing Apps including batch applications - Meet the defined SLAs in production ticket resolution, Application Availability - Analyze Production issues and pro-actively work with Development team - Timely communication to all stakeholders about ticket resolution/status - Create accurate implementation/game plans, schedules and ensure efficient allocation of resources - Facilitate communications within the team and facilitate knowledge sharing amongst the team and other personnel. - Improve processes and procedures, increasing departmental effectiveness - Willingness, Able to stretch on need bases for any crucial business production issues - Strong understanding of ITIL process, Responsible for ensuring availability of application - Ability to reengineer by looking at current system design and building better functions based on scope defined - Fast learner and ability to adapt to complex environments - Working on Incident Management, Problem management with taking lead in issue resolution - Ability to see non visible things and ensure proactive measures are taken to avoid issues/slippages - Monitor and guide other team members as needed - Work on priority, complex work and deliver with tight timelines - Suggest/Implemented latest technologies to bring in efficiency and add value to business -Performs production support including after-hours during India day and evening time on rotation basis. - Performs on call production support in week ends on rotation basis. - Finds the priory of the issue based on impact, diagnoses and troubleshoots - Finds the root issue and provides short term and long term solution to provide best possible service to business - Support all application maintenance activities like failovers, patches, infrastructure upgrades. - Ability to write, execute, and document test plans. - Ability to do the reviews and follow the process methodologies and documentation - Reports status to Technical Lead - Monitors and guides junior resources
Market Skills and Certifications
Technical requirements include the following: 8+ years of hands-on software design and development, Strong production support experience Prior experience in handling production support (L3 Support), Incident Management, Problem Management Experience in Java/Java EE, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX, Web application Spring (Core, MVC), Struts Experience in Apache technologies like Storm, Spout, and Kafka OR something similar (e.g. Kubernetes, Azure and AWS) used for Micro Services implementations. Direct exposure/experience in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence such as Splunk ITSI/ML toolkit, Azure Machine Learning, Python and ML/Sklearn
Candidate should have experience in Java/J2EE.
Strong in Oracle, PLSQL programming.
Experience working with Unix environments and associated scripting languages.
Knowledge on Autosys jobs.
Proficiency in working with systems required to effectively process large volumes of both real-time and batch transactions.
Should have hand on experience in Support/Maintenance.
Prior experience with tools like GitHub, Splunk.
Prior experience with messaging middleware like JMS, MQ etc.
Prior knowledge of Hibernate and Spring frameworks.
Experience in Banking domain
