About Wells Fargo India
Wells Fargo India enables global talent capabilities for Wells Fargo Bank NA., by supporting business lines and staff functions across Technology, Operations, Risk, Audit, Process Excellence, Automation and Product, Analytics and Modeling. We are operating in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai locations.
The Supply Chain Management team is within Corporate Services department and is primarily responsible for contract negotiation and procurement of goods and services
About the Role
Develops Sourcing strategies and leads contract negotiations for low to medium risk products and services.
Well versed with contract principles and drafts non-standard contract terms and conditions
Review, draft and negotiate Master Agreements, medium dollar low complex Statement of Works, Change Orders, Amendments and similar contracts
Research vendor contracts to identify existing relationships, rights, risks and obligations
Experience on multiple categories
Proactively identifies and analyzes cost savings opportunities.
Analyze the most advantageous offer
Support RFx activities including selection criteria
Acts as the primary liaison for current and potential suppliers for low to medium risk/dollar spend
Identifies and escalates risk-related issues and identifies alternative options/solutions.
Partners with business groups to issue/evaluate RFx opportunities and conduct reverse auctions.
Establishes supplier evaluation/selection criteria and coordinates supplier due diligence activities.
Maintains current status and engagement information related to active engagements in Strategic Sourcing systems.
Benchmarks industry and category trends.
Ensures meeting all internal policies pertaining to contracts
Ensure contracts clearly specify the right and responsibilities of each party to the contract
Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as data protection including customer supervisory information (CSI), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) to protect customer personal information, etc.
May train and/or lead less experienced members of the team.
Conduct Quality Check on transactional documents
Works with more senior strategic sourcing consultants in identifying ways to improve supply chain performance (cost savings, quality improvements, discount programs etc.), identifying improvements in tools and processes to streamline and automate the supply/commodity management process and may assist with more strategic enterprise sourcing projects.
Apply fundamentals of issue based problem solving and supports efforts to structure and analyze issues
Architect and operate catalog and contract compliance processes.
Architect and operate reporting aligned to cost savings initiatives.
Market Skills and Certifications
University degree in Business or related discipline (15+years of Professional Education).
Knowledge on local market/commodities/suppliers & Taxes.
Knowledge on SEZ rules & regulations
Knowledge on handling of Import/Export transactions
