Job Title: Head of Wholesale Digital & Transformation at WFIS / Senior Eng Manager
Reporting to: Head of CCIBT WFIS (hard line) and Global CIO Wholesale Digital & Transformation (dotted line)
About The Role:
The Head of Wholesale Digital and Transformation at WFIS will have overall responsibility for leading teams providing technology development, maintenance & solution capabilities. This role will actively partner with senior technology leaders and business partners to support the technology deliverables for the group and objectives aligned with business of Commercial Lending and Capital Markets. This role will have senior managers / Managers as direct reports and will also oversee the allocation of people and financial resources at WFIS to ensure efficient and effective management of the teams aligned with strategic objectives and will make critical technology decisions requiring strong operational risk and customer impact management. This role has a hard line to the head of CCIBT WFIS and also dotted line into Global Wholesale Digital & Transformation CIO.
This role will be responsible for setting, driving and executing the roadmap to develop contextual, interactive and the Wholesale experience that provides unparalleled prospect and customer engagement with the Global CIO. This role will be also part of CCIBT WFIS leadership team.
Overall responsibility, as part of the global Wholesale Digital & Transformation leadership team, for providing common platform software services & solutions to Commercial Lending and Capital Markets business. Requires managing a large resource base of full time team members, contingent staff and offshore vendor partnerships.
Provide senior leadership as member of the global Wholesale Digital & Transformation technology team as well as CCIBT senior leadership team at WF International Solutions.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the CCIBT Wholesale Digital and Transformation CIO and other key CCIBT leaders.
Jointly accountable, in a global function, for delivery and performance, in partnership with the respective leaders, including service management and operational risk management.
Partner with Platform Management team for effective availability and user experience of Wholesale Digital and Transformation products in production.
Assess current staff capabilities, identify talent gaps, and execute talent management actions aligned with CCIBT strategy effectively leveraging globally interchangeable talent pool.
Serves as a role model demonstrating commitment to diversity & inclusion and Wells Fargo's culture and core values.
Set and execute on the CCIBT roadmap to develop contextual, interactive, low latency solutions that provide unparalleled prospect and customer engagement.
Utilize customer insights and data to continuously enhance a seamless customer experience, increasing loyalty, advocacy and retention
Market Skills and Certifications
15+ years of technology experience, including 7+ years of leadership experience managing a complex technology organization at scale including delivery managers, managers, individual contributors (engineers and architects) and vendor resources across multiple locations and geographies in a matrix model.
Ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization with Wells Fargo's size, scale and complexity.
Experience in KYC and customer onboarding at scale as well as CRM is a plus. Strong experience in enabling user experience by re-imagining and digitizing internal and external process
Strong experience with Web Services, Micro Services and asynchronous messaging like Kafka.
Strong experience in leveraging Big Data technologies like Hadoop clusters, Spark and Machine Learning experience
Hands on experience with API based solutions using API management platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee etc.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial, operational, technical and regulatory drivers impacting a complex and dynamic global technology environment.
Strong understanding of global technology trends and practices including cloud, open banking, big data and Agile/DevOps, CI/CD working.
A seasoned, relationship-driven leader with the style and cultural sensitivity to effectively initiate and lead change across a highly complex, global business environment and organization.
Demonstrated experience in building, leading, developing and retaining a high performing team of leaders, strong technical experts and high performing professionals in a cultural environment that achieves results through team member engagement and satisfaction.
