Enterprise Function Technology within the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) business is responsible for supporting HRIT group that caters to HR, Team Member and Manager Self service functionalities for employees across the globe. HRIT group is responsible for managing and supporting all of team member data in a single SOR (system of Records)
About the Role
Wells Fargo HRIT team is seeking a strong hands-on experienced Workday developer to assist with the HR Transformation work that has been taken over the group. HRIT is enabling Enterprise to move from one system of record (currently Peoplesoft) to another (Workday). The Job responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements and coming up with a technical solution that meets business requirements. The position will be hands-on on the design and development activities and makes sure deliveries of quality. The candidate should be comfortable working on multiple deliverables often with tight deadlines, write code, create test data and unit test and assures quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications. Candidate should also be well versed working in an Agile team.
Design & Develop scalable Workday application (with Kainos) catering to existing and future business needs.
Gather and Analyze requirements and design solutions that meet the requirements
Work closely with the Scrum Master in the Agile team and create value add with your experience.
Provide UAT support & needed assistance for release management activities
Participate in design sessions, provide necessary inputs, provide support preparing user stories and deliver tasks timely
Market Skills and Certifications
10+ years of software engineering experience in progressively challenging roles including proven skill sets in server and client side programming and best practices.
Should have at least 6 years of strong hands-on experience working on Workday including but not limited to:
Knowledge on Migrations from one Tenant to another.
Knowledge on security for various Workday objects.
Must have in depth experience working on Report Writer, Calculated fields
Integrations – RaaS, Web services, EIB, Cloud Connector for Inbound and Outbound integrations. Need a fair knowledge on XML for Transformations.
Workday studio – Need very good knowledge for complex custom integrations. Experience on Mvel Scripting.
Experience on Kainos Smart tool for regression testing and testing automation
Must have done concurrent test-executions on multiple tenants for high volume execution
Work with various Agile teams providing SME capability on business processes and data sources, helping business translate requirements into Test plans
Knowledge of EIB Integration, Security, Cloud Connect and Studio integration is a must
Proven experience in relational database technologies and familiarity with DB design.
Must have experience of building multi- tenancy, high- volume, and transactional applications with scalability and high availability.
Experience in developing technical architectures and produce end- to- end technical specification and design artifacts.
Workday Functional knowledge.
Develop, direct, and assist in the preparation of moderately complex solutions and modification of new and existing applications.
Play a technical SME role and also participate in code reviews, design reviews, internal testing sign off for deliverables.
Developing Workday integration by utilizing Cloud Connects, Enterprise Interface Builders and Workday Studio for various functional areas including HCM, Benefits, Payroll and Recruiting.
Migrating the data from legacy systems into Workday and data conversions from PeopleSoft to Workday.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills is a must
