About the Role
This role is for data validation team within BMG group. The primary roles and responsibilities would be to validate the data and compare the data across different environments using Teradata queries.
Should have 7-10 yrs years of hands-on development and support experience in one or multiple Data warehousing projects involving 3 yrs of experience. Knowledge Teradata (SQL) is important Documents all phases of the Systems QA process as artifacts for the project per SDLC. Develop systems test plan components and test scripts with the QA staff. Validate data and do data profiling for business teams. Recommends and initiates systems testing with the QA testing lead. Conducts and confirms requirement elicitation results Review and finalize Use Cases, Functional Design, and Process Flows Defines acceptance criteria and involves in solution validation cycle Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Executes basic to complex test cases and test scripts. Performs simple to moderately complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects using appropriate defect control software. Having knowledge in QA tools like HP ALM, QC would be an added advantage.
Bachelor degree with 7-10 yrs years of hands-on development and support experience in one or multiple Data warehousing projects involving 3 yrs of experience.
Knowledge Teradata (SQL) is important.
