Market Job Description
WFBI Finance is a team of 23 people, split into three core reporting lines:
(a) Controllers are responsible for GL integrity and external financial reporting, (b) Regulatory Controllers are responsible for reporting to Regulators and; (c) The Finance team is responsible for providing internal management reporting information as well as providing strategic financial advice to senior management, the Board of WFBI and Lines of Business.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for candidates to assist the Finance team and WFBI Senior leadership team as they work through strategic initiatives.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to build on prior experience such as financial reporting, accounting and forecasting and doing so within the environs of one of the world's largest Financial Institutions.
Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting process
Prepare Management and Board reporting
Pro-active analysis to support Senior Management decision making
Monthly plan, outlook and associated variance analysis to support business partners
Prepare accounting files as part of the month end close
Complete US & local GAAP financial reports
Process transfer pricing and internal expense allocations
Market Skills and Certifications
Qualified accountant and strong academic background
Able to manipulate large volumes of data
Able to present and give alternatives to reporting problems
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within a team structure.
Intuitive; fast learner with good problem solving skills
Ability to multitask and deliver high quality output in tight timeframes
Excellent IT skills, especially Excel
Good time management & organisational skills
Experience of Hyperion Essbase or Smartview an advantage
