Wells Fargo Enterprise Counterparty Credit Risk Technology The Enterprise Counterparty Risk Technology (ECRT) department provides software solutions to support Corporate, Line of Business and Enterprise Counterparty Credit Risk teams. ECRT works with its business partners in identification, measurement, aggregation and reporting of Counterparty Credit Risk across the firm. The department works closely with the lines of business to ensure that risks are being appropriately managed within the defined risk appetite for the firm.
About the Role
The senior Engineer will become a subject matter expert in the testing needs for applications assigned. The automation Engineer will partner with the development team, EGS (India Partners), Support and key business stakeholders to understand the business needs, technical design, and current or targeted systems architecture. The Lead should be familiar with all testing aspects of the assigned project(s) and readily articulate the status to superiors and partners at any time during the project life-cycle. Given the domain knowledge, the engineer will also be expected to provide input to the sizing and estimation process for future development and/or production support efforts.
Responsible for designing and building services, workflows, batch/ETL processes, calculations and reports using Automation framework. Will work directly with the business to understand requirements and architect and implement Quality solutions for the Counterparty Credit Risk area by leveraging their specific business and application development experience. Will work with technology services groups to troubleshoot problems and optimize performance. Will hold a technical role as an individual contributor or technical lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives. Will utilize a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
5+ years of development or implementation experience with automated decisioning tools and platforms
6+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
6 + years of automation or regression testing experience
4+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
5+ years of SQL experience
3+ years of Windows or Linux scripting experience
6 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java
5+ years of experience with continuous integration tools such as Anthill or Jenkins

Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures to extract data from various source tables to perform database testing.
Experience with full lifecycle software development
Experience in using Jenkins as a Continuous Integration server to configure with Maven.
Skilled in using Maven and POM to help manage project's build, report and documentation across the network
