Market Job Description
This exciting opportunity is for a Software Development Professional that will provide application design, guidance and consultation. You will utilize a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of a high performance team and comfortable with being able to multi-task across varied activities in a diverse and bilingual environment.
Acts as a development technical lead and senior hands-on developer to provide application design and consultation for junior developers, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable new technology, pair & peer code check-ins, secured code review, and maintenance of existing applications.
Provides hands-on programming, application design, and architecture decisions from a delivery standpoint, building mock-ups and demonstrating them to the business users and others on the technology team.
Ensures security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Oversees maintenance and testing of the business continuity plan (BCP).
Assists technology managers for successful project delivery based on dynamic and needs.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned applications.
Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
Provides coding direction to less experienced staff and/or develops highly complex original code.
Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
Ensure quality, security and compliance requirements meet expectations for supported areas.
Oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
Market Skills and Certifications
7+ years of application development and implementation experience
5+ years of SQL and .NET experience
3+ years of experience in CI/CD environments
Secure code practices experience
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Knowledge and understanding of banking: private or wealth management operations
5+ years .NET server-side web services integration experience
5+ years of experience creating and/or integrating with RESTful web services
5+ years of experience designing and developing responsive web applications using Angular, Angular CLI, or React
Hands on working experience with MVC frameworks
Experience using Git/Github and/or TFS
BS or MS degree in Computer, or Information technology related degree
Bilingual. French & English
