Market Job Description
: The Data & Analytics team's mission in Cybersecurity Defense and Monitoring is to improve Wells Fargo's security posture by providing ongoing monitoring of selected information security controls so there is appropriate awareness to control effectiveness and trends, and to support the coordination and prioritization of remediation activities:
Provide assurance that our controls are current, implemented as designed, and operating as intended
Deliver quality monitoring and actionable reporting services that provide clear visibility of our security health for infrastructure related security controls
Increase awareness to control gaps and weaknesses, and support ongoing remediation
This role is of a team member working in the Information & Cyber Security within Data & Analytics team, who has good understanding of Data Loss Prevention, Security Configuration Management processes, analytics and reporting of vulnerabilities using tool. Working closely with business lines & infrastructure teams, this role directly contributes to the effort to identify, track, and remediate the open vulnerabilities (technical Vulnerabilities or build compliance deviations) on our systems.
Identifies security risks to the organization and ensures that appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented
Develop different use cases and test cases to test the effectiveness of the Data Loss Prevention policies
Perform sample tests on Data Loss Prevention policies and report out the observation
Determine the solution and mitigation controls for identified observations
Creates quality metrics to accurately display the true posture of the environment
Ensure the audit requests are managed and handled for Continuous Monitoring function
Investigates and recommends appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents
Understand the application of existing services within continuous monitoring function and propose new/adapt new solutions depending on needs.
Present/Document key findings, progress and hurdles to IT leadership on regular basis
Influence stakeholders to prioritize and execute risk management initiatives and drive remediation of process and technology gaps.
Communicating security issues to a wide variety of internal key stakeholders to include technical teams, executives, risk groups
Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners both regionally and globally
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline or equivalent experience
6 to 8 years of progressive experience in Information and Cyber Security domains handling two or more security domains like Security Configurations & Key Security controls, Event/Log monitoring and analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, security compliance & reporting.
4+ years' experience in Data Loss Prevention in policy creation, tuning and testing
2+ Year experience on designing and developing DLP end to end solutions
2+ years' experience with industry standard frameworks (e.g. NIST)
2+ years' experience in any one of SIEM tools (e.g.SPLUNK)
Ability to present reports to and interact with senior leaders
Strong hands on skill with MS Excel, Power point
Excellent communication and documentation skills with good attention to detail
Ability to adapt while working in a dynamic environment
Market Skills and Certifications
Industry recognized certifications like CISSP or Security related certifications
Knowledge of Security Configuration for various platforms/servers
Good understanding of networking concepts like SSL, ICMP, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, traceroute.
Good understanding of threat, vulnerabilities, attacks and countermeasures
Understanding of OWASP and Vulnerability management
Depth knowledge on Endpoint security and ability to troubleshoot
Good knowledge on network packet analysis
