Market Job Description
The Enterprise Data Technology team is looking for an energetic technology manager to lead the technical and functional strategic design and implementation of various key application under Wholesale Data Services area. We're looking for a seasoned technology manager to build and lead a team of up to 50 FTE and contract team members. The position is for a senior lead VP with Wholesale Data Services in Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) who has in-depth experience developing and implementing medium to large-scale technology programs for several years. The candidate will lead a team of senior developers, database analysts and data architects in the Wholesale Data distribution, Data History and Analytics area with in Wholesale Data technology. These platform app's are highly visible, high-priority set of applications residing on multiple technologies. The platform is used across all Wholesale LOBs and is pivotal to merger and acquisition activity. The platform will be used by 1,000s of internal users who are onboarding and supervising up to 300,000 clients. The manager in this role will be accountable for strategic technical design and delivery to meet the broader regulatory and compliance needs of the Wholesale organization.The candidate should be ready to travel to US for a couple of weeks in a year.
Strong financial services technology manager with proven results in building and re-engineering high performance service based solutions.
Experience in ETL technologies (Informatica, Ab initio, Teradata, Oracle EXADATA)
Should be expert in designing of Data warehouses, Data marts etc.
12+ years of leadership or management experience in a comparable sized software delivery/support area, high caliber staff of 10-50 strong developers.
Experience developing monitoring and alerting solutions.
Extensive experience successfully managing technology vendor contracts and SOWs.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Java development tools and environments
Experience with a major workflow tool.
Experience with large Oracle data bases including tuning and database optimization
Exposure to reporting and business intelligence platforms such as Microsoft SSRS
Experience in leading/driving technology strategy aligned with regulatory drivers.
Ability to manage technically and geographically diverse resources of development, QA and production support capacity
Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
