Market Job Description
The International Region Talent Leader for the APAC region will dual report to the International Enterprise Talent Leader and the Region HR Leader for APAC. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing the overarching talent strategy for the APAC locations in support of regional strategy and the line of business goals. This role provides horizontal leadership across the global talent organization, which includes Learning and Development, Executive Talent Planning, Organization Effectiveness and Talent Acquisition for the Region and is aligned to the enterprise talent organization. Areas of focus may include but are not limited to company culture, leadership development, all levels of recruiting & hiring delivery, and succession planning. Leads the development and implementation of strategy within areas of focus. Applies an enterprise view to drive common solutions across all business lines. Ensures compliance with all regulatory and audit requirements. Oversees multiple senior leaders of functional teams with complex areas of accountability.

Key responsibilities & requirements include:
Partnering closely with the HR Regional Leader and regional senior business leaders to identify, define and prioritize current and future international talent needs in support of the region strategy and business objectives.
Delivering effective talent strategies, solutions and initiatives across the region, while considering regional differences. Aggregates information across the four international talent functions.
Manages joint accountability to drive enterprise-wide initiatives in support of the HR functional leaders globally, and the needs of the region.
Influences and drives an integrated talent strategy and effectively manages and aligns resources at the region level across all the Talent functions including Learning & Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition and Talent Planning and all other HR COEs.
Collaborates with global HR partners to identify and leverage SMEs to execute a robust and innovative talent strategy with appropriate focus on regional and global effectiveness, expense management and meeting regulatory expectations.
Accountable for Performance Management, Setting Objectives and Resourcing decisions for the Regional Talent team, incorporating dual reporting arrangements if applicable.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory and corporate/audit requirements for the International Talent functions.
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: talent acquisition, talent planning, learning and development or human resources consulting with 8+ years of management experience, preferably in international or managing a large global talent organization
Excellent relationship management, consulting and influencing skills, with a proven ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
Ability to understand and operate in a complex, matrixed environment.
Strong decision making and strategic thinking skills.
Bachelors degree, preferred in related field.
20% Travel required
