The Department of Finance in the College of Business at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Finance. Candidates must possess a PhD in Finance or related field (or expect to complete their PhD by August 1, 2020) from an AACSB accredited university. Successful candidates are expected to be active researchers with the potential to publish in high-quality finance journals. Seasoned candidates should have a strong record of publishing in high-quality finance journals.
We invite applicants who value collegiality and the desire to contribute to the Clemson community of finance scholars. We are searching for candidates with a research focus in corporate finance, particularly in the areas of corporate governance and/or regulation. The candidate will teach four semester courses per year and participate in service activities. The anticipated start date is August 15, 2020.

The Finance program currently has 12 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. Members of the Finance Faculty have recently published in premier finance journals, including JF, JFE, JAE, JFQA, and MS.
