The Senior Financial Analyst will provide ongoing support to the reporting and stress testing processes to Corporate for the Citi Retail Services business. Citi Retail Services issues private label and co-branded credit cards for some of the nation’s largest retailers, including The Home Depot, Macy’s, Best Buy, LL Bean and Sears. The role is viewed as a key player for business analytics and is expected to assist with the overall forecasting process for Retail Services. They will also be involved in ad hoc analytics to summarize business performance and be a key player in the CCAR stress testing process for the business. This person should be a self-starter who can work independently and focus on key deliverables. This role reports to the FP&A Sr. Vice President.
Forecasting – Assists in development of annual Operating Plan, Mid-Year Forecast, and monthly forecasts across Retail Services business
Coordination and support Treasury for business inputs and funding cost allocation
Responsible for variance analysis across all Forward Looking scenarios (Plan, MY Forecast, Outlook)
Identifies financial risks and opportunities and communicates to key members of the finance team
Responsible for analysis, modeling and reporting for capital stress testing for Retail Services.
Analysis – Develops, prepares, and presents analysis, presentations, and reporting for internal management on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
Perform ad hoc portfolio analysis as required
Strong working knowledge of Excel; Essbase/Hyperion
Written and verbal communication skills – role is required to be able to present multiple clients and varying key themes in a concise manner to Business Senior Management
