Assistant Vice President Communications and Donor Relations
Responsible for overall operational management responsibility for Foundation programs and activities. AVP will work closely with the Foundation President on daily Foundation Board management activities but more importantly, on a strategic vision that maximizes Board engagement, giving, and ultimately, its favorable impact on the organization's fundraising goals. Manages professional and clerical staff, including day-to-day supervision, employee relations, and staff development. Maintains effective and responsive relationships with volunteers, staff, Inova leadership and other departments. Summary: The Assistance Vice President for Communications and Engagement is a critical member of the Foundation's leadership team, overseeing the Foundation's
communications, special event, leadership annual fund and stewardship teams, as well as managing Board engagement him/herself. The AVP and his/her team will
develop effective communication strategies and engagement opportunities to maximize the Foundation's impact with a variety of internal and external stakeholder
audiences, ensuring they further the mission and goals of the Inova Health Foundation as they pertain to community awareness, volunteer and donor engagement, and
