As an Inside Sales Executive you will be responsible for inside sales responsibilities such as generation of deals and quotes, renewals, MSA generation, data mining, and processing orders to meet business requirements.
Successful candidates for the Insides Sales Executive role must have experience in technology sales or technology based solution sales. Candidate will research sales leads, obtain knowledge of customer organizations, develop customer relationships, build strong business relationships with partners and vendors, and generate product and/or services proposals and quotations.
Creating and writing quotes for outside sales staff and engineering team
Registering deals with multiple vendors
Tracking registration expiration and completing refreshes as needed
Tracking renewals and generating quotes
Tracking software, hardware, and support agreements
Generating and updating renewal lists and assign responsibility each month
Writing projects, marketing pieces and RFP content
Daily correspondence with customers, clients and vendors
Creating MSAs for new clients and handle annual renewals
Generating quotes for all deals under specified margin
Data mining and research for opportunities for sales to existing client base
Process incoming orders and update status
Matching signed quotes
Assign new tickets and board management
Drive profitability and grow revenue for existing customer base in partnership with outside sales and engineering team
Develop strong partnership with vendors and customers
Build market awareness through participation in local industry events and organizations/affiliations
Develop product knowledge and sales skills by participating in training/seminar opportunities
Engage local vendor field representatives to collaborate on sales efforts
Preferred Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and sales experience
ITIL certification (nice to have)
Knowledge & Expertise
5+ years of experience in technology sales selling directly to client base and maintaining relationships
Experience with managing vendor relationships and supporting partners such as Dell, Microsoft, Brocade, Cisco, Aruba, SonicWall, Toshiba, Barracuda, Citrix
Experience creating and generating quotes and renewals in a fast past environment
Experience with CRM and Quoting Generation tools
Proven interpersonal skills and experience interacting with customers, senior level personnel, and team members
